Meet Fabiola Kinder!

Fabiola is a Realtor®, Broker Associate based in Laguna Beach, California, with a wide local network and focus. Her expanded area includes properties in south Orange County (Irvine and Newport Coast through Laguna Beach, Monarch Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, and San Juan Capistrano.)

People often ask me, are you Italian, "what's with the name?" Well, I was three days old and nameless because, as the first born grand-daughter, niece and great-granddaughter, the entire family wanted to participate in naming me. Descended from Europe, aunts, grand-mothers, and great-grandmothers suggested royal names, but my parents could not agree. The solution became a selection by lottery drawing! They cut out royal names from the Paris Match magazine and placed them in my grandfather's hat. My father guided my tiny hands into the hat and I drew two pieces of paper: one fell from my grip, and the other with the name Fabiola, remained. So Fabiola it was! Queen Fabiola was the queen of Belgium and granddaughter of Queen Victoria. She married the long-time bachelor, King Baudoin I of Belgium. Over the years friends and family shortened the name to Fab.

In a real estate career spanning over twenty years, Fabiola has represented sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants of luxury homes, resort homes, second homes, investment properties, hotels and resort developments including golf courses, and new home developments in 55+ and all ages communities. Fabiola has also listed and sold large land parcels for resort development in Baja California Sur in Mexico (La Paz-Los Cabos corridor) in Riviera Maya (Cancun-Tulum corridor), and in Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. Her prior career was in Hospitality Management (sales and marketing of groups and conventions for luxury hotels and resorts of up to 650 rooms and 100,000 sq.ft. of meeting space including golf course), has prepared her for the service demands of the most discerning clients. Big or small, Fabiola understands the importance of each client’s most valuable investment, which takes her top priority.

• As Chairperson of Future Cities at Laguna Beach Sister Cities Association, she led in the approval process of Laguna Beach's newer sister cities, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, and St. Ives in Cornwall, England. Fabiola organized LBSCA Sister Cities inaugural and ongoing trips to San Jose del Cabo, fundraising after Hurricane Odile, and she continues to be the liaison for this sister city.
